Data Acquisition

We acquire high-quality geospatial and geological data through a broad range of advanced techniques and instruments, including drones, LiDAR systems, and 3D photogrammetric methods.

Data Interpretation & Modelling

To interpret acquired data and model the geo-environment, AuroraGeo applies advanced methods and reliable digital tools designed to deliver trustworthy, consistent, and easily updatable results.


Our approach is built around advanced 2D/3D workflows and implicit modelling techniques, allowing complex geological and geospatial information to be transformed into clear, dynamic, and practical models.

Hazard & Risk Assessment

Depending on the working scale, site conditions, and type of geohazard, the evaluation can be performed in either 2D or 3D. This ensures that each analysis is adapted to the complexity of the phenomenon and the level of detail required.


The state of instability is defined through deterministic and probabilistic analyses, providing a robust understanding of potential failure mechanisms and associated risk levels. Sensitivity analyses can also be carried out to evaluate the influence of key controlling parameters and to better understand their effect on the behavior and evolution of the geohazard.

Monitoring Data Analysis & Interpretation

 AuroraGeo collaborates with IDS GeoRadar GRD, part of Hexagon Geosystems, acting as the representative of IDS in Greece.


Through this collaboration, we promote advanced monitoring products and services for the mining industry, supporting safer and more informed geotechnical decision-making.

Beyond technology provision, our services focus on defining the right monitoring strategy for each site, interpreting monitoring data, and supporting clients in the development of Triggered Action Response Plans (TARPs).

Geotechnical & Monitoring Audit and Training

As consultants for IDS GeoRadar, we support both prospective and existing IDS clients globally through specialised technical services tailored to mining and geotechnical monitoring applications.


Our support includes on-site and remote training on IDS monitoring systems, helping client teams understand the equipment, workflows, data outputs, and operational use of the technology.


We also provide weekly and monthly monitoring reports, transforming monitoring data into clear, practical insights that support operational decision-making and risk management.


In addition, on-site monitoring and geotechnical audits can be carried out to assess system performance, review monitoring procedures, evaluate ground behavior, and support the continuous improvement of geotechnical risk management practices.
