OROSS (Optimal ROck Slope Stability) is a decision support software
platform for structurally controlled slopes in hard-rock open-pit mines,
built on more than 20 years of our team’s engineering expertise and developed with funding from the MASTERMINE EU Project.
OROSS addresses a challenge many of us know too well: slope
stability assessment requires several different software tools.
For rock engineers, separate software packages mean multiple
licenses, repeated data transfers and time-consuming analysis reruns.
That leaves less time for engineering decisions.
OROSS tackles this challenge in a single workflow, within a 3D
environment:
• Structural modelling
• Structural domaining
• Spatial statistical analysis of discontinuity characteristics
• Application and visualization of Rock Mass Classification systems
(RMR, SMR & Q-slope)
• Block stability analysis, including Factor of Safety and Probability of Failure
• Optimizing slope design for safety and economic efficiency
